I was born and raised in Kannapolis, NC, home to NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt. My love of home and family began at an early age. I attended NC State University where I studied biology and computer programming.
I love watching and attending NC State football and basketball games. I played the flute with the marching band throughout my high school and college years.
After graduation, I stayed in the Research Triangle Park area. I’ve lived in Raleigh, Cary, Chapel Hill, and Durham, where I built my first house in 1990.
I am married with two children, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. We have three cats and three dogs. My husband and I love to cook healthy, fresh food. He is an avid gardener, so we enjoy eating from the garden as much as possible.
Following a successful career in Information Technology at Nortel Networks, my passion for home and family led me to a career in real estate.

Following graduation from North Carolina State University, I took an entry-level position in Information Technology at Nortel Networks, where I stayed for over 25 years. I held various management and non-management positions within Marketing & Engineering Systems as well as Information Systems. After building my first home in the Durham-Chapel Hill area, I soon developed a passion for homes, and their functionality and layout, which led me to a career in real estate. I earned my NC real estate license in 2000, and began practicing real estate full-time in 2007.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological and Life Sciences from North Carolina State University. I returned to NC State University a few years later to earn a Certificate of Computer Programming under the Post-Baccalaureate Studies program.
I have been a licensed Real Estate broker since 2000 and an active REALTOR since 2007. I have listed and sold nearly 300 single-family homes, condos/townhomes, vacant land, and small commercial properties, ranging in price from $25,000 to more than $1 Million.
